Last night we opened up the trailer tent, redistributed some of the weight, and packed the front box. We also put the top box onto the car so that is all ready to go. I am a littel concerned about the Jockey wheel - it seems to sit at a 30 degree angle to upright.... well I don't need it for towing do I !!!!
Today, Julie has sorted a lot of the other bits and pieces out. We need to sort clothes out, decide on a menu for the weeks so we can go and do a holiday shop and then we are nearly there.
Need to spend a little time this evening sorting out the plants in my greenhouse before we go away and looking through some of the many leaflets, websites, etc. we have got before we go to decide what we are going to do when we get there.
I just need to get shot of this blithering cold !!!
Roll on Saturday.

Booking all complete
Yippee. I have booked my food with DFDS and the best bit is Cameron, who is 3 (just), eats free of charge. So the tickets are all booked. The next step is to check the Trailer tent is all OK, and fit the top box to the car tonight. Then we can start sorting out food and clothes ready for packing the car.

Getting Ready
Well, it is only 5 days before we leave for Denmark to go on the Camping Holiday which we won by visiting the VisitDenmark.com website. We have received confirmation of the ferry on DFDS and the campsite at Skiveren in North Jutland. The other day we received some ideas of things to do in the area and some free entry tickets to the attractions. These include Farup - an amusement park, a sealife centre and Aalberg zoo.
So, now we need to check the trailer tent is ok, start packing, sorting out the food we want to take.
So far, so good. Well not quite, because we haven;t booked the ferry ourselves, we are unable to pre-book any meals on board online. Booking online gives about a 25% saving on the onboard costs. I will have to call and see if I can get anything done over the phone.
